With your help we can bring more smiles to those that need them the most.

We use the power of play to combat social isolation, foster inclusive communities, and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.

With your help, we are working every day to make sure people with disabilities have the same opportunities as everyone else for positive experiences through play. With our nearly two decades as pioneers in inclusive play, thousands of hours working with people with disabilities, leading developers, and engineers we create opportunities for players to find inclusive places to play and connect with family and friends.

One example of our work is the Peer Counseling Program. Our Peer Counseling team consists of players with disabilities and occupational professionals who work together to find the best solutions to enable play. An AbleGamers’ Peer Counselor is an AbleGamers team member who gets to know the player with disabilities, understands their unique needs, identifies the accessibility hurdles, and provides resources and suggestions in order to facilitate play and engagement in the community spaces around gaming to create rich social experiences.

However, we get a lot of requests for help every day at AbleGamers, the need is so great, and we aren’t able to keep up with the extremely high demand. AbleGamers also partners with various organizations, including hospitals and rehabilitation centers to reach many more people with disabilities and provide them with a nearby location to assist in setup to enter the world of gaming.

Your gifts will go directly towards meeting the high demand for our programs and services, ensuring that we continue to create opportunities that enable play to combat social isolation, foster inclusive communities, and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.

You have the power to make a difference. You have the opportunity to help more people access the life-enriching power of play. We cannot do any of these amazing things without your help!

There are so many more players who want to game, and we need you to be there for them all #SoEveryoneCanGame.
